Our new automation builder makes it simple to set up contact status updates in minutes. Here&rsquo;s how it works:&nbsp;

Start by going to the Automation page in Podium. Here, you&rsquo;ll find the &ldquo;+ Automation&rdquo; button in the top-right corner. Click it to access the new automation builder.

Let&rsquo;s say you want to update a contact&rsquo;s status to &ldquo;won&rdquo; once a payment is received. Select &ldquo;Podium&rdquo; as your source and choose &ldquo;payment received&rdquo; as the trigger. You can then add a filter under &ldquo;Audience&rdquo; to ensure the account balance is zero.

Next, choose &ldquo;update status&rdquo; as your action and pick the status you want to apply, like &ldquo;won&rdquo;. This status will then automatically be applied to contacts that meet your criteria.
