Branching Automations + AI Automation Summary
We’ve launched new “Branching Automations” in Podium – this unlocks even more personalization and time savings for your team! How it works: Simply add conditional “if/else” logic to your automation workflows. This lets you send one message to Customer A and a different message to Customer B from the same automation.
That’s not all. As a new pre-activation step for automations, Podium users will now see an AI-generated automation summary that anticipates how the automation will perform after you activate!

New Notification: Missed Calls or Voicemails with No Owner
We’ve added a new phone notification that alerts Podium users about missed calls or voicemails that don’t have an owner (for example, after hours voicemails). This ensures that teams can quickly follow up on every missed lead, even if the call wasn’t routed to a specific department or person.
This notification prevents leads from slipping through the cracks or customers waiting longer for a response. With this notification, our users are notified right away so the team can respond promptly and avoid missed opportunities.
Route to a Phone Number in Call Groups
Our Podium users can now forward calls from a call group to any phone number. This gives your team more flexibility and ensures you don’t miss important calls.
When a call is forwarded, the caller’s ID stays visible to the receiving number. Now your customers can always reach someone, and you’ll always know who’s calling.
Podium Email Lead Sources
Excited to share that we’ve expanded the functionality of Podium-generated email accounts to give these accounts the same lead detection capabilities that were previously only available for Gmail and Outlook accounts. This ensures that our users can capture leads directly from their Podium email traffic.
This update reduces gaps in lead capture, simplifies setup with automatic detection, and keeps inbox management clean and reliable.
Healthcare Privacy Mode for AI Review Response
We’ve released a new feature specifically for healthcare professionals: Healthcare Privacy Mode for AI review responses!
